The use of dynamic data sets, where each component of the data has a unique timestamp, has increased. It is now possible to visualise dynamic graphs in an event-based manner by using algorithms for sketching temporal networks inside the space-time cube (2D + t). The navigation of three-dimensional images of non-spatial data is challenging. In order to completely comprehend the graph structure and how it changes over time, interactive systems are required.
The student will look into how to divide and visualise the space-time cube perceptually effective ways. This space-time cube's contents will first be seen using an embedded network created using an event-based dynamic graph drawing technique. In this instance, the visualisation techniques will be used to visualise the drawing's existing structure, which concurrently accounts for space and time. Then, we'll look into techniques for drawing the dynamic graph on demand in the user-steered space-time cube.
